Latin Voices

Argentine Axel Krygier wrote and arranged this self-produced album that feels like a soundtrack of sorts. Rockish guitars feel like background for a James Bond scene on “Hombe De Piedra” and “Changarin” while a cabaret mood blooms with a bass clarinet on “Mi Piel De Animal.” A mix of reggae and mariachi make “Alcohol” intriguing and a true folk tune is heard on “Marinerito.” Krygier has a dark and foreboding voice that is made for modern rock sounds, rich and deep that penetrates in all atmospheres.
